This résumé highlights my abilities but makes no attempt to exaggerate them. For over 20 years I have worked with both programmatic and construction scheduling.  I specialize in working with field personnel to produce logically accurate, resource loaded, CPM schedules built within multiple WBS frameworks.  When dealing with individuals unfamiliar with scheduling practices, I make extensive use of Primavera logic diagrams.  I am expert in earned value management (EVM). My strengths include making complicated projects more easily understood, team building, and taking ownership of the products I produce.  In Iraq, I was, for several years, the sole Al-Anbar Province Regional Scheduling and Project Controls Supervisor and proved, to the dollar, budget expenditures of approximately 162 million dollars (USD) per year.

Employment History

November, 2013 to April, 2014 – Employed by Peak Solutions as a Senior Scheduler at the D.O.E. Portsmouth Facility (PORTS), Piketon, OH 45661
Utilized Primavera 6.2.  Major duties and responsibilities with the D.O.E. Portsmouth D&D organization:
® Assigned to develop resource loaded CPM schedules for numerous D&D projects.
® Developed various progress and resource reports for management review.

July, 2012 to March, 2013 – Employed by Technical Diagnostic Services as a Senior Scheduler at the Ft. Calhoun Nuclear Plant, 9610 Power Lane Rd., Blair, NE 68008
Utilized Primavera 6.2.  Major duties and responsibilities included both Ft. Calhoun’s actual flood recovery program, and the site Fukushima response:
® Developed flood recovery schedules for presentation to the NRC.  These schedules dealt with both procedural, civil, and subcontractor issues.
® Created and managed schedules for significant containment penetration modifications.
® Assigned as the Outage Control Center (OCC) 2nd shift senior scheduler.
® Working closely with the Ft. Calhoun Operations Department, integrated the timing of scheduled site modifications with actual plant operating conditions.
® My employment contract was extended three times.

July, 2011 to December, 2011 – Employed by Myriad Technical Services as an EPU Outage Scheduler at the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant, 6501 South Ocean Drive, Jensen Beach, FL 34957
Utilized Primavera 6.2.  Major duties and responsibilities with St. Lucie’s reactor outage organization:
® Enlisted significant participation of craft supervision, field engineering, and plant operations personnel during the development of seven major EPU modification schedules.
® Provided accurate Critical Path Management (CPM) information by assuring correct intra-project and inter-project logic ties, no open ends, lags or unnecessary constraints.  Obtained both realistic durations and resource data.  Verified activities were associated with relevant EPU site milestones.
® Encouraged reliable Earned Value (EV) results by emphasizing accuracy of assigned resources, the percentage of value each activity contributed to the completion of an individual modification, and the requirement to accurately measure the progress of each activity.
® Significantly involved in the development and modification of WBS frameworks and Primavera dictionary coding.
® Schedules and associated reports were developed using Primavera in conjunction with various Microsoft Office products and the client’s NAMS system.
® Represented the EPU organization at the client’s weekly T8 meetings.
® Assigned as the Outage Control Center (OCC) 2nd shift senior scheduler.

May, 2010 to April 2011 – Employed by Day & Zimmermann NPS as an EPU Outage Scheduler at the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant (MNGP), Monticello, MN 55362
Utilized Primavera 6.8.  Major duties and responsibilities with MNGP’s reactor outage organization:
® Originally seconded to the client’s Outage Manager and tasked with development of Day & Zimmermann NPS CPM construction schedules required for the spring 2011 Power Uprate.
® All schedules were resource loaded, logically tied with no constraints or open ends, vertically integrated, and merged into the client’s online system.
® Creation of these schedules involved intensive interaction with individual construction managers, supervisors, project planners, field engineers, and Site Operations personnel.
® Schedule creation process also required physical walk-downs with both Planners and Project Managers, reviews of work orders, scope descriptions, and drawings.
® Developed schedules and associated reports using both Primavera 6.2 and 6.8 in conjunction with various Microsoft Office products and Passport.
® Utilized Network Logic Diagrams for initial schedule development and Gantt layouts for final presentation to the client.
® Primary plant systems upgraded during the EPU outage were Feedwater Heaters, and Condensate Demineralization.

March, 2009 to March, 2010 – Employed by ACTS-SC as a Project Controls Senior Engineer at the Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC 29802
Utilized Primavera 6.2.  Major duties and responsibilities with the Solid Waste Management Facility (SWMF) organization:

® On a weekly basis, developed and provided to facility management, details of all operations activities scheduled to occur within the next 2 month period.
® Developed schedules for facility construction projects and evolutions involving nuclear waste handling, remediation, and shipment.
® Performed normal resource loading evolutions.

December, 2008 to January, 2009 – Employed by Edgewater Technical Associates as a Senior Scheduler at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, NM 87544
Utilized Primavera 5.0.  Major duties and responsibilities with the Solid Waste Division (SWD) organization:
® This position was abolished shortly after my being hired.
® Provided Primavera P5 schedule development and oversight.
® While at LANL, developed and maintained schedules for the Waste Certification program.

July, 2008 to November, 2008 – Employed by System One (Areva) as a Senior Scheduler at the Turkey Point Nuclear Plant, Homestead, FL 33035
Utilized Primavera 3.1.  Major duties and responsibilities with the reactor outage organization:
® Provided Primavera schedule development and oversight.
® Senior Scheduler for 13 plant modifications.
® Responsible for preliminary schedule development of an additional 28 plant modifications.
® Coordinated schedule and cost data from 5 remote locations supporting this site.

August, 2007 to April, 2008 – Employed by Rocky Mountain Engineering as a Senior Scheduler at the Cooper Nuclear Station, Brownsville, NE 68321
Utilized Primavera 3.1.  Major duties and responsibilities with the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Facility (ISFSI) organization:
® Provided Primavera schedule development and oversight.
® Coordinated schedules of 3 contractors for this time-sensitive 45 million dollar project and tracked all costs as required by the Nebraska Public Power District.

December, 2004 to May, 2007 – Employed by ECC International as the Regional Scheduler and Project Controls Supervisor for the Iraqi Western Region (Al-Anbar Province)
Utilized Primavera 3.1.  Major duties and responsibilities with the Environmental Chemical Corporation International (ECCI) in Iraq:
® Embedded with the Iraqi army under the auspices of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense (MOD), I and up to 4 other Americans provided overall management of local subcontractors building military facilities for the Iraqi army.
® Provided Primavera schedule development and oversight.
® Working almost exclusively from forward operating bases (FOB’s), rather than logistic camps (LOGCAMPs), I was responsible for all scheduling and cost controls for six projects in the Al-Anbar Province.  I also had significant involvement with two additional projects in other areas of Iraq.  These projects constructed approximately 400 structures and facilities with a total budget of over 405 million dollars.
® Traveled extensively within the Al-Anbar Province and worked directly with members of the U.S. military, the Iraqi Army Officer’s Corps and numerous Iraqi subcontractors.
® Developed and implemented methodologies whereby projects were able to be updated electronically from remote locations not having access to scheduling software.
® All schedules were resource and cost loaded.  This allowed for highly accurate Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.  The accuracy of these earned value reports was due to each activity being assigned a budget based upon an agreed to schedule of values (SOV).  The other half of the equation, physical percent complete, was based upon actual measurements.  Project reporting exceeded D.O.D. and A.F.C.E.E. requirements.
® Types of construction scheduled and monitored from inception through turnover included new or renovated buildings, water treatment and distribution, sewage collection and treatment, electrical generation and distribution, POL facilities, roads, and maintenance facilities.

July, 1991 to November, 2004 – Employed by British Nuclear Fuels as a Senior Scheduler at the Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC 29802
Utilized Primavera 3.1.  Major duties and responsibilities with the Solid Waste and Infrastructure (SWI) organization:
® Provided Primavera schedule development and oversight for the SWI Division.  Components of this division included Site Maintenance, Site Transportation, Site Utilities, and Site Infrastructure.
® Provided management with critical path, earned value and other cost analysis.  Included were specialized reports and presentations designed to focus on specific areas of concern.  I placed emphasis on continuous improvement of methods used for progress reporting.
® Primary software used was Primavera, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
® Secondary software used was Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Freehand and Prism Project Manager.
® Responsible for division change control process (BCPs); including incorporation of changes into all affected budgets and schedules.
® Created high-end graphic displays and presentations for use by SWI organization and D.O.E. management.
